Event Navigation

Ntoh Dance - women traditional dance for taking a bride to her betroth on the day of her wedding.

PHOSCAR, in partnership with Bui Family Union—MN, is going to participate in this year’s World Refugee Day. This event is an opportunity for Southern Cameroons to come out and advocate for the freedom, for the safety of their people who’ve been driven to despair by unimaginable acts of barbarism by the soldiers of La Republique Cameroun (LRC) and the French.

Presently in the Southern Cameroons, the despair of the people is unimaginable.

Southern Cameroonians in diaspora can’t afford to be silent and complacent. When Southern Cameroonians wave peace branches, they are shot. When they hide in the homes, they are burnt alive. When they run, they are shot. Silence and inactivity of any Southern Cameroonian and the world is tantamount to supporting the genocide.

Advocate. Speak up. Dance the Ntoh dance and tell the world of Southern Cameroon humanitarian crisis.

Participating countries MUST advocate in dance, art, drumming, songs, crafts, etc. according to the organizers—The Advocates for Human Rights. The Southern Cameroonians will be led by the Ntoh Dance and the Longsi Ensemble all from the Bui County.
